Welcome to InkRise Academy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at inkriseacademy.com and your participation in any of our coaching programs, courses, or services (collectively referred to as "Services").
By accessing our website or enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or enroll in our programs.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Student," "Client," or "User") and InkRise Academy ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Chimezie Duru, Lagos, Nigeria.
InkRise Academy is currently in the process of formal business registration in Nigeria. These Terms are legally binding regardless of the registration status of the business.

By enrolling in any InkRise Academy program, making a payment, or using any part of our website or services, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and our Disclaimer.
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You will use our services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms.

InkRise Academy offers the following coaching programs:
InkRise Academy Standard — a 4-week group blogging coaching program delivered through live group coaching calls, digital course materials, templates, and access to a private student community.
InkRise Academy Private — a 1-month private, personalised 1-on-1 blogging coaching program with dedicated sessions, a custom strategy, and direct coach access.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any of our services at any time with reasonable notice to enrolled students. If we discontinue a program after enrollment, we will offer a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

3. ENROLLMENT AND PAYMENT
Enrollment in any InkRise Academy program is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or the agreed first installment payment.
Spots in each cohort are strictly limited. Securing your spot requires completing the payment process through our official payment links on the website.
All payments are processed securely through Paystack. We accept debit and credit card payments through Paystack. For direct bank transfer payments, students must contact us at hello@inkriseacademy.com to obtain our account details.
All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦). US Dollar (USD) equivalents shown on our website are approximate and based on the current CBN official exchange rate at the time of display. Actual USD charges may vary depending on your bank's exchange rate.
3.3 Payment Plan — Private Coaching Only
An installment payment plan is available exclusively for the InkRise Academy Private 1-on-1 Coaching program. Under this plan:
The student pays 70% of the total program fee upfront to secure their spot and commence the program.
The remaining 30% balance must be paid in full before the commencement of Week 3 of the program.
All final session materials, tools, templates, documents, and deliverables will only be released upon confirmation of full payment. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
No installment payment plan is available for the Standard 4-Week Program. Full payment is required at enrollment.
Students are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges applicable in their own country of residence related to the purchase of our services.

Both programs include live coaching sessions delivered online via video conferencing platforms. Session dates and times will be communicated to enrolled students upon confirmation of enrollment.
If a student misses a live coaching session for any reason, that session is forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or replaced. All live coaching sessions are recorded and uploaded to the student portal within 24 hours of the session. Students may access recordings at any time during the program.
4.3 Recording by Students
Students are strictly prohibited from recording any live coaching session using any device, software, or method. This includes but is not limited to screen recording, audio recording, and video recording. Violation of this rule will result in immediate removal from the program without a refund.
The recordings provided by InkRise Academy through the student portal are for the personal use of enrolled students only and may not be shared, distributed, sold, or reproduced in any form.
All templates, swipe files, trackers, email sequences, and other materials provided as part of the program are for the personal use of enrolled students only. These materials are the intellectual property of InkRise Academy and are protected by copyright law.

All content on the InkRise Academy website and within our programs — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, coaching materials, templates, frameworks, and course content — is the exclusive intellectual property of InkRise Academy and Chimezie Duru, unless otherwise stated.
Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to access and use the program materials for their own personal educational purposes only.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content or materials without our express prior written permission.
Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property will result in immediate removal from the program, forfeiture of any refund, and may result in legal action.

6. STUDENT CONDUCT AND COMMUNITY RULES
InkRise Academy is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students.
By enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to conduct yourself with respect, professionalism, and integrity at all times.
We reserve the right to remove any student from our program and community, without refund, if in our sole discretion that student:
Engages in disruptive, abusive, threatening, or harassing behaviour toward the coach, staff, or other students.
Shares, distributes, reproduces, or resells any program materials, recordings, or content without authorisation.
Violates any of these Terms of Service.
Engages in any conduct that we determine is harmful to InkRise Academy, its reputation, or its community.
The decision to remove a student from our program rests solely with InkRise Academy and is final.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
InkRise Academy provides its website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and quality of our content and coaching, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Guarantees of specific results, income, traffic, or business success from completing our programs.
Guarantees that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.
Your results from our program will depend entirely on your own effort, consistency, background, experience, and market conditions. We share strategies and frameworks that have worked for us and others, but we cannot guarantee that they will work for every individual.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InkRise Academy, its owner, coaches, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our programs, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to InkRise Academy in the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InkRise Academy, Chimezie Duru, and any associated staff or contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of our website or services, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
For our international students, we acknowledge that certain consumer protection laws in your country of residence may also apply. We commit to resolving all disputes in good faith.
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to mediation or arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, before any legal proceedings are commenced.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
